Nate Hicks is a Mainer whose upbringing fostered a love for the ocean, the mountains, the woodlands, and all of the people he met on his adventures along the way.
Fishbone Metal Works is a result of Nate's appreciation for his Maine surroundings and love for taking gritty, industrial mediums and turning them into things of adornment. http://www.fishbonemetalworks.com/
CHART metalworks is the creation of a long time sailor, with a nautical Maine background. One day in 2006, surrounded by scrolls of nautical charts in her home, Charlotte Guptill was inspired to incorporate the medium into her designs. In 2008 CHART metalworks was formally launched. Soon after husband John joined to assist with the growing orders in their studio on Custom House Wharf, Portland, Maine. Now with the help of a talented pack of Maine based artisans and an expansive collection including maps and territories beyond the US, they handcraft custom nautical chart and map adornments allowing you to capture your most treasured spots across the globe. CHART metalworks is the original custom nautical chart and map jewelry. www.chartmetalworks.com

Since 1988, Gritty McDuff’s has been creating fine, handcrafted ales and traditional pub fare. From our humble beginnings as a small brew pub in Portland’s Old Port, we’ve grown to become the brew pub of choice for Mainers and folks “from away”. From the start, Gritty’s was at the forefront of the brewing renaissance in the Maine. Founders Ed Stebbins and Richard Pfeffer had two simple goals in mind: to create a true, English-style pub serving fresh ales and great food, and to have fun doing it.

Yale Synthetic Cable & Rope Technology has never lost a customer to a competitor based on quality, nor have we sought customers on the basis of price alone. We have always embraced new fiber technologies and have been the first manufacturer to incorporate them in rope and cable products when they provide the best value to the customer.
Yale has continuously developed unique custom and modified machinery to maintain its advantage in processing fibers to their fullest potential.
We do this every day to the very best of our abilities in Maine and North Carolina ... nowhere else.
